this post features a video that is my fashion styling debut! i traveled back in time and put together all these looks. well, not really. but i wish that were true. 'atomic love' by pleasure point has some atomic outfits for sure - i'm not so convinced that the vocals are atomic or pleasurable... actually their voices sound like someone who just had their tongue numbed and is starting to lose consciousness. my fave outfit is a tie between the white fringe number that is paired with white pirate boots and the gray stretch velvet leotard ensemble paired with the visor and ponytail on the center of the head. i love the shots when they are all wearing the super high cut leotards. it shows how versatile that look is. NOT. p.s. is the one in the pink leggings a man?

EVERYBODY LOVES A HERO
in case you didn't get the memo, everybody loves a hero. or wait, maybe... there's a song called 'everybody loves a hero' by a singer called memo. HA jk. that was lame. anywho, this vid is so pointless and repetitive that i find it somehow comforting. gazing at the suave swaying motion of this gentle man (and his 3 clones) is ever so calming. for some reason the backdrop makes me think of dinosaurs in heat. and i think there's either a ufo or a giant saturn in the sky. fast forward to 1:30 for a sweet harmonica solo and wait for your brain to start getting numb.

ATLANTIS
'atlantis' by tom hooker is quite the visionary song. i mean, who else could write such a catchy little tune about a mysterious underwater world? the video looks like fancy's lady of ice but with a lot more going on. my fave is the dancer girl whose body is just soft purple light. that's hot. and those talking interludes are so informative! although i have to say i couldn't really pay attention to what he's saying with his buff arms out on display like that. and that fringed leather jacket?! i would wear that.
