'the promiseland' by hypetraxx is an extremely catchy euroclub jam that has a strangely calm music video. the singer is so serious and faces that camera while telling us that he will 'take us there' as the background changes from white to a beach to a forest to the pyramids. it gets a bit creepier when his female counterpart appears among winding gears and asks him to take here there. and the final addition of vogueing skydivers makes me want to go to the promiseland, wherever 'there' is.
