happy halloweeen!!!! i've been meaning to do a post on kidcrusher for a while and today is the day. he's got an icp feel, except he's australian. i never thought about australian horrorcore but whatevers! 'meet the monsters' is prutty scurry but 'a dirty fuckin murder' is actually really scurry. pumpthatjam is normally a place for happy eurotrash and not murder, but whatevs its halloween. BOO!

D-DEVILS

d-devils are pretty blazinnnn!!!! all their songs kind of sound the same but who cares, they are all qood. i would die to see that live performance. the devil is a popstar!!!

SWITCHBLADE SYMPHONY

it's time for a goth girl group. 'clowns' by switchblade symphony is taking me to another world of dark pop industrial rave in my mind. soooo the look. every time i try to incorporate pigtails into my real life i just look mental. time for extensionzzzz.

DAS ICH

das ich rules. im only halfway kidding. i found the live performance video first and now im obsessed. so hilarious yet so.... powerful. and don't even get me started on the keyboard dudes hair!! LIKE WHA???!!!! that is on another level. the video for 'reanimat' is hauntingly catchy and 'destillat' is just gothy weird. im seriously downloading all the songs of theirs i can find right now, im actually pretty into the dark electronicky-ness. it's all about dark pop music in my world!!!!

DANIELLE DAX

danielle dax is like a witchie kylie. AWESOME, RIGHT?! im dying over her makeup in 'hollow man.' totally gonna cop dat. 'tomorrow never knows' is a bit more psychedelic dude. in 'pariah' she goes full on witchy mode. not gonna lie, im really into that look too. makes me wanna tease ma hair for dayz!!! 'cathouse' features a more dolled up danielle. i never thought about the genre of dark popstar but now im kind of really really into it.....

SCARY-KATE AND SLASHLEY

ok so i know halloween was yesterday but i was so busy with festivities i didn't get to post nothin. so here's my hollersween post on the "dark" version of the halloween song from 'the adventures of mary-kate and ashley.' which was one of my FAVE shows. i remember watching this episode but something about the edited version seems much cooler to me now.... like seriously i wish i was genius enough to have created that design in facepaint. and those poor wimpy boyz are so lame. WATCH THIS ON REPEAT TO ENTER NEXT DIMENSION.

TAISIYA POVALIY

i always find the best, most bizarre videos when i search for popstars from some random eastern european country, and this is no exception! this lady looks like a vampire version of 'i dream of jeannie' who is VERY adventurous with her wardrobe and styling. my fave look is ..... actually i can't decide! they are all equally mindblowing. although the 'fan' version of her that is dancing in the crowd with a greasy moptop makes me lol. but wait - the unexpected vocal gem of this vid begins at 3:00. she's got some kickass pipes yo. NOT. imagine if she was your mom. what a weird life that would be. and at the end when the three versions of herself merge it is so magikal!

HELLOWEEN

ok, i know this post isn't exactly seasonal but i couldn't resist. i mean, the song is called 'halloween' and the band is called helloween. the video involves the band jammin in a spooky forest, luring out all the hotties of the forest with their guitar and headbanging skills. there is some serious fashionspiration in this vid though - the drummer is wearing a fringe jacket and the girls of the forest have some very pastel, frosted eyeshadow going on. how chic! i wish it was helloween every day. p.s. notice the guy in the klaus nomi outfit? random.
