happy halloweeen!!!! i've been meaning to do a post on kidcrusher for a while and today is the day. he's got an icp feel, except he's australian. i never thought about australian horrorcore but whatevers! 'meet the monsters' is prutty scurry but 'a dirty fuckin murder' is actually really scurry. pumpthatjam is normally a place for happy eurotrash and not murder, but whatevs its halloween. BOO!

SWITCHBLADE SYMPHONY

it's time for a goth girl group. 'clowns' by switchblade symphony is taking me to another world of dark pop industrial rave in my mind. soooo the look. every time i try to incorporate pigtails into my real life i just look mental. time for extensionzzzz.

SCARY-KATE AND SLASHLEY

ok so i know halloween was yesterday but i was so busy with festivities i didn't get to post nothin. so here's my hollersween post on the "dark" version of the halloween song from 'the adventures of mary-kate and ashley.' which was one of my FAVE shows. i remember watching this episode but something about the edited version seems much cooler to me now.... like seriously i wish i was genius enough to have created that design in facepaint. and those poor wimpy boyz are so lame. WATCH THIS ON REPEAT TO ENTER NEXT DIMENSION.

KILLA C

ever heard of horrorcore? well now you have. meet killa c. he's facing some difficult issues in his life and needs to release his demons through the poetry of rap. and he also needs to paint his face and look like a possessed clown goat thug. it's just a healthy form of self-expression, so don't be scared. actually, maybe you should be scared. 'torn' is a rather tame jam from killa c, compared to his other tunes like 'suicide,' 'cycle of death,' and 'this iz hell.' on a positive note, i like how when he doesn't have face paint he has all these shaved lines in his eyebrows.

DAMIAN DAVEY

what do you get when you mix together ronald mcdonald, michael alig, big bird and dame edna? my dream person. JK! kind of. no silly you get damian davey!!! his cover of 'the time warp' from rocky horror takes the song in a more club-friendly direction. i love how he tries to incorporate random people on the street and they all look really confused by his sweetass ensembles. fastforward to 2:37 for a rap interlude by an invisible/anonymous deep-voiced fella. basically this video is everything i love about life. his cover of 'wig wam bam' was a somewhat less earth-shattering follow-up, but i think post-worthy just for the feather headdress.

ARE YOU THE FIRESTARTER?

so lately i've had a mini obsession with prodigy. i mean, the dude has blonde eyebrows, a krusty the clown hairdo and a bull nose piercing! who doesn't find that appealing? jk. but srsly im kind of really into 'firestarter.' that video is also kind of genius. but if you watch it with the sound off it's like a parody, especially when he is hanging from above. that dude can give face. 'breathe' has the krusty hairdo in purple and green (yay!) and features some creepy crawlies. sweet. 'charly' is a bonus acid trip rave jam just for fun.

SAY FERGIE SAY KILLER CLOWN

kids incorporated was one of my fave fave shows growing up and i totally remember fergie. this performance of lionel richie's 'say you say me' is one of her finest ever, and it takes place in some abandoned but also magical back alleys. the best part of this video, other than fergie ferg's jewish sideburn curls, is the extremely creepy, horribly frightening clown. as fergie sings to him he smiles while swinging a broom, playing with a yo-yo, and romantically giving fergie some plastic flowers. the last scene of this video, which was edited out, is the clown stuffing fergie in a bag and kidnapping her to be his slave for a year. or at least that's the direction it seems to be going...
