i downloaded jane child's first album the other day and i've been playin it allll da time now. her hair is kind of insane - ankle length skinny braids plus crimped frankenstein hair on top?! it's like a street girl/mental institution version of a mullet. 'welcome to the real world' is a hott jam, and 'don't wanna fall in love' was her big hit. i so wanna start wearing that nose ring ear chain thingy. i wonder how she deals with that hair, i bet it gets so dirty at the bottom and gets caught in shit all the time.

e-type is one of my most favoritestest pumpthatjam groups ever, and i'd always thought the siq dancer girl with the spider body, huge fake titties and tranny ponytail was so essential to the magic of their music. so when i found out that she had a few solo songs i was ECZTATICK! her name is dilnarin demirbag, but you can call her dee. the live performance look of 'all the way up' is so ma zone, i wanna get red hair clip-ons to frame my face. 'want you to go' isn't as good but still mega skankilicious. and the last vid is a bonus clip i've been waiting to post for a while - some of dee's best dance moves from an e-type show. hypnotizing, disgusting, straight-up strippa! dee rules.

this is 'joy' by danielle. i think the user who uploaded this vid to youtube described it best: 'a dance anthem for the independent spirit.' and i think the aerial camera view is really working for danielle. nice use of text in the video too.

i owe this jam to necessary clothing. the remix version came on while i was shopping for a freakum dress and i freaked. SO GOOD. the original cover version by olive is pretty magical, but the club remix is like whoa. the only video i could find with this version is a dance video starring joseph. i recommend watching all his other vids as well. ENJOI. :)))))
