I AM THE CUTE ONE

a lot of people are not aware of the olsen twins' illustrious career as a musical group. and since their song 'i am the cute one' has been stuck in my head all day i figured i would do a post about it to enlighten the masses. they got one crazy wardrobe in that video, with a lotta bucket hats and oversized jackets and fabric flowers. im diggin the huge side braid and their harmonizing at the two peas in a pod part of the song. the second video is for a lesser known attempt at the rap genre called 'the noise about boys.' it freaks me out that they are rapping in a bathroom in matching black fancy spaghetti strap dresses with matching chokers and weird heels. and the weirdness continues with clips of them from their videogame 'dance party of the century.'  the hip-hop dance clip is hypnotizing.

FAIR CONTROL

fair control gives a whole lotta face in their videos.  the frontman has an angelic lesbian face/hairstyle.  my favorite part of 'angel eyes' is the middle eastern synth at 0:23. the audio/video sync is off by a little, but whatevs. my fave part of the 'symphony of love song' is when they closeup on the singer at 0:30. it's hypnotizingly hilarious!!!  he has such round little cheeks and such fluffy hair!

BIG FUN

big fun really is all about the fun - the videos for 'blame it on the boogie' and 'can't shake the feeling' are so ridiculously full of happiness and sunshine fun it makes me feel joyous and nauseous at the same time. i think british boy bands are a bit different from american ones..... a lot more jumping around in colorful matching tight outfits and singing in high delicate falsetto voices. american boy bands sing slow songs while sitting on stools. i love that they are wearing fanny packs in the first video!
