my roommate jessica's co-worker told her this video is his inspiration for life. A-MAY-ZING! it's so magical joyful tropical paradise heaven. what better name for this track than 'splash happy'??? iasos RULEZ. but i couldn't include only one vid from him - 'procession on the horizon' features some seriously psychedelic dude effects that only enhance the mind-bending power of his musical creation. now let us voyage into the enchanted forest where iasos plays the pipes of the pan, aka two little pipes at the same time! he's actually got some mad skillz. love that little touch of the faeries flying away at the end of the video. something tells me that iasos edits these videos himself... i highly recommend going to iasos.com, where it is revealed that he was one of the original founders of 'new age' music! the last video is super extra otherworldly insane - i almost started crying by the end of it. i think iasos is my inspiration for life now too!

on a rainy sunday night i wanna watch some nostalgic vids. so why not some lesser known early hanson jams?! 'weird' is still one of my fave songs, for serious. beyond just a boyband jam its actually a pretty deep song that gets me emotional - im not joking. well, except for the part in the vid where they are singing as they are swimming underwater. that's pretty hilarious. especially isaac's braces horseface. 'where's the love' is a rock out jam with the hanson bros performing in london amongst fans. best part starts at 2:08 when isaac busts out his wild side. watching these videos is making me remember why i had such a huge crush on taylor. he is so pretty and dreamy i can't take it!!!

"time has come" by mike oldfield came up in my recommended videos in youtube, and when i watched it, seriously, i was overcome with magical egyptian emotion. like, took my breath away amazing. i was kind of obsessed with egypt when i was like 8 so i have a deep connection with hieroglyphics. this vid is just so golden and majestic. "pictures in the dark" features the singer anita hegerland in a sexy satiny leotard top and the innocent, pure vocals of aled jones. he sounds like a choirboy from heaven. i could see the part when he sings being sampled in some new hip hop joint. and forget about that random dude playing the guitar in the striped shirt. no idea what that's about. just to up the coolness quotient i guess. actually he goes crazy and breaks his silence in the fireworks scene. whoa dude. way too many elements going on. "innocent" has a anita in a wifebeather with her face appearing in glass head sculptures. and of course some purple lightning from her eyeballs is included. i like that tv keyboard laboratory room they are in."five miles out" starts out pretty peaceful and then turns into a rager around 2:00. this video is actually like 20 songs in one. can't even start to get into it. just watch. question: can someone please tell me who the eff is mike oldfield and who are all these other people in the vids?! geez.
