somehow, yet again, i found another ridiculous russian jam. they always seem to be the most entertaining ones. andrey gubin was the russian version of a 90s pop boy band except he is so captivating he doesn't need any other group members! the video for the song 'liza', or that's what i'm guessing it's called because he says her name 500 times, is very repetitive yet somehow i can't turn it off. the faces he makes are just so adorable i can't take it. NOT. notice his huge pointy collar flopping around when he dances. the second video, which means 'night' in russian, is yet again repetitive and strangely hypnotizing. here we see andrey in his slicked back hair, leather jacket mode. and 'ya znau, ti znaesh' is poor quality but if it was high quality i'm sure it would be my hands down fave. how can you resist three lipsynching russian popstar clones dancing around in a silver hallway? i definitely can't. P.S. if you are bored read his wikipedia. highly hilarious.
