SLAM DUNK DA FUNK

the first 30 seconds of british group 5ive's song 'slam dunk da funk' is an extremely awesome boy band moment. they are so faux thug and i love it. kinda like backstreet boys but with the word 'funky' appearing in their lyrics a lot more. 'when the lights go out' is another bumpin 5ive jam. my fave part is at 1:38 when one of them says 'yeah, check it, check it out, second verse girl.' 'if ya gettin'  down' is another catchy track where the one with plucked eyebrows does a lot of rap talk singing. actually, i think they all have plucked eyebrows. below is a bonus video of interview clips so you can get to know the boys a bit better and pick your favorite.

POAK CHOPS

the video for 'poak chops' by tamechi is so wrong in so many ways that it is so right! first of all, tamechi is a man. also there's no concept to the video and the song is horrible. but that's what makes it amazing. go-go girl, you're just a country dream.

WHIGFIELD

danish singer whigfield's biggest hit was 'saturday night,' and the video is so stupid and simple that it's awesome! love the braids all over her head, she is gonna have some kick ass waves in her hair when she takes them out. i feel like bringing that look back. 'big time' involves pushing a shopping cart in the middle of the desert and a little talking interlude with a blonde wig. she also looks a lot like jenny from ace of base in that video. her cover of 'last christmas' is europoplicious and features a nose ring and a santa without a beard.
