i have been waiting and waiting to do this very spooky post! 'the worst witch' was one of my fave fave fave movies as a kid and this song was the best part! tim curry's faces surpass even taco in level of nostril expression and lip curling. loving his bat bowtie. the jammin part of the song starts with some overly dramatic groaning at 1:46 and then turns into the best halloween song ever created. the lyrics to this song are hilarious - 'your teacher could become a sardine, your dentist could turn into a queen, has anybody seen my tambourine?' but the hands down best best part of the song is at the very end starting at 3:33. 'hairay, scaray, creepay, crawlay, haaalooween.' i might add that i like to sing that part at least once a day. lately i've been singing it a lot more to get in the ghoulish spirit. this vid is going in all-time faves!

Lio does that banana song I think...but Yelle is like, too popular and stuff, they are in car commercials in Canada I think, so that might not be appropriate, maybe. Aneka is awesome, though. Keep on pumpin'.

About Yelle, yes, i kind of know that (feeling embarrassed). I like her, but i didn't know whether to put her on my recommends or not. I just felt like i had to put another french pop-artist there, so it wouldn't stand alone. :s
